Bethany Thomas, Senior. Her job placement this year is at the READ Center. Bethany has been very instrumental at the READ Center. She works on high level projects, has helped with the end of year appeal to donors and contributed to the READ Center Cookbook. Bethany is very self aware and has truly blossomed at the READ Center. She wrote an article about the importance of adult literacy that the READ Center will be submitting to the local newspaper as part of their story about the relationship with Cristo Rey and the READ Center.

Nukiyah Whitaker, Sophomore. Her job placement this year is at Riverfront. Nukiyah has been doing a great job at Riverfront. She did not have a job placement last year and her maturity, poise and professionalism this year as her first experience have been excellent. She is a team player and has integrated into the culture of the Riverfront worksite. Nukiyah, has been the lead on a Wellness event that Riverfront is hosting. For the past 3 month, she has been planning and coordinating various small things leading up to the wellness event. Nukiyah is always courteous and eager to learn.
